What you can do with the preview and line art files you generate on Hoopline.

The licence
We grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use each pattern you generate for the uses allowed for the plan you were on when you generated it. The licence covers files you downloaded while your plan was active and continues after the plan ends.
Whether a newly generated design can be protected by copyright varies between countries, and similar designs may be generated for other people. So we cannot give you exclusive rights or promise that you can register a pattern as a trademark or design.
Your responsibilities
- Follow the Acceptable Use Policy, including the rules on designer monograms, crests and logos.
- Check that anything you add to a pattern, or the way you use it, does not infringe someone else's rights.
- Be honest if asked: Hoopline motifs are AI-generated, even though your stitching is your own work.
Not a stitching guide
Patterns are decorative line art. They do not include stitch types, thread charts or step-by-step instructions, and they have not been tested on every fabric. Always stitch a sample first.
Fonts
Lettering is set with typefaces released under the SIL Open Font License. You may use the lettering as part of your pattern; the licence does not let you extract or redistribute the fonts themselves.
